Devesh is the founder and CEO of Pani Energy, a company that is redefining the water industry by bringing advanced system design and Artificial Intelligence to lift the state of the art and reduce operational costs associated with extracting fresh water from non-fresh sources. Devesh was born and raised in India and left to British Columbia, for his engineering studies. Just in under 5 years, Devesh had made enough impact in the research, development & technology side of water and energy technologies, that he was labelled as the 'Future of British Columbia, Canada' in the Vancouver Sun News Paper; quoted to be making a vital impact globally by the University of Victoria; and called the top youngest innovator in Vancouver Island by the Douglas Business Magazine.
A background in Mechanical Engineering with publications and patent applications in the field of membrane processes, energy storage and advanced water treatment. Devesh was honoured with the prestigious Excellence in Innovation and Engineering Award (WE Cowie), given to a single student out of the entire University of Victoria, along with distinction, deans list, and awards from Gustavson Business School, Coast Capital Savings Innovation Centre (Entrepreneur of the Year - 2017), JC Research Award, BC Clean Energy Research Award (2015/2016).
