Use of digital media through E-Learnings and Smart classes makes learning highly interactive.Student exchange programs are also organised with other countries to give the necessary exposure to the students.We provide all the support including transportation, books, uniform, meals, special coaching for skills and competitive exams. Adani Vidya Mandir model operates in Ahmadabad,Bhadreshwar(Gujarat) and Surguja(Chattisgarh) with more than 1,450 students and thereby their families and communities being impacted. We are also working with the State Government by providing support to Balwadis/Anganwadisand Government schools for infrastructure up-gradation, teacher's training and community participation. Our inspiring project Udaan gives exposure tours to Adani Industrial areas benefitted more than hundred thousand students.
In Healthcare ourfoundation runs a number of initiatives likeoperating six Mobile Health Care Units, attending to an average of 12,000 plus patients per month. The Rural Clinics operated by us also attend to more than 4500 patients in a month. A Senior Citizen Health Card Scheme is initiated for the elderly rural population for their overallhealth care. Other need based programs include Anaemia Reduction program focussing adolescent girls and women and De-addiction programs focusing on youth and people in generalinrural areas. We run Adani Hospital at Mundra, Kutch (Gujarat) serving rural communities with state of art infrastructure and medical facilities.The Foundation, under a Public Private Partnership model with the Gujarat Government had taken up the G. K. General Hospital, Bhuj (Gujarat) and converted it into a medical education institute, being the only Medical College in the District with strength of about 750 students with internship programmes in rural areas.
Sustainable Livelihood Development is an integral part the Adani Foundation activities. Our various initiatives are targeted towards igniting the young minds and empowered life. Our core focus is on improving livelihood opportunities by making the traditional vocations such as agriculture and animal husbandry more scientific and productive. Required Skill development trainingsare imparted in our Centreswhich arespecifically designed. Under Adani Skill Development programmes we have designed a program especially for the fisher folk communities to ensure that they are equipped with education, health, vocational training needed for advanced livelihood practices. Our Rural Infrastructure Development projects focus on enhancing civic amenities needed ineducation, health and sanitation, drinking water, community based structures, water conservation and recharge structures. Theprocess of planning, selecting and executing infrastructures is very participatory and village centric. It aims at complementing government efforttowardsa holistic and integrated development.
Recognizing the importance of sports, we have added Rural Sports as a separate vertical.
