Prof. Dawoud is water resources advisor with the Environment Agency - ABU DHABI, UAE. He has graduated in civil engineering with honor degree and got his Master and Ph.D. from Ain Shams University through joint program with Colorado State University, USA. Since 1991, he has maintained an active program of research and consulting activities, with particular emphasis on groundwater, artificial recharge, Reuse of TSE, desalination, and water resources management. He attended many training course in USA, Netherlands, Sweden, Spain, and France.
He worked as a consultant for World Bank, UNESCO, ESCWA and USAID. His current research includes water supply and demand, solar desalination, groundwater management, aquifer storage and recovery, and Reuse of TSE in many countries such as Egypt, Nigeria, Kenya, Mali, Oman, KSA, and UAE. He is an editor in three international journals and reviewer for other 7. He has 5 published books and more than 75 published research papers in international peer-reviewed journals, and international conferences. He got the 2009 Abu Dhabi Excellence Award and 2011 HH Sheikh Sultan bin Zayed Al Nahyan Award. In 2011 he was awarded by the National Academies-USA as one of best four young Arab water scientists.

Sajid Ali Social Innovation Danone India The seeds for Sajid Ali's career in social innovation were sown in the year 2003 with a degree in Agriculture from the Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar followed by the degree with a rural management from the prestigious Institute of Rural Management, Anand and began his journey in social development sector.

Vanessa Tobin is the Senior Technical Adviser for Water Supply, Sanitation and Water Resources Development for Catholic Relief Services, Baltimore, USA since 2013 where she provides lead support for the sector to CRS country offices.
Until December, 2011, Ms. Vanessa Tobin led the UNICEF Country Office in the Philippines as Representative which included planning and implementation of programs for children and women; advocacy and resource mobilization; and emergency response.
Prior to her assignment in the Philippines, Ms. Vanessa Tobin served as Deputy Director for Program Division at UNICEF New York Headquarters from July 2006.
Ms. Tobin served as Chief, Water, Environment and Sanitation (WES) in UNICEF New York (2001–2006). During this period, she was responsible for the global guidance and support to UNICEF's water, environment and sanitation programs and was responsible for the development of the UNICEF WASH strategy (2006-2015) in support to achievement of the Millennium Development Goals, leadership of the WASH Emergency Cluster, the initiative for WASH in Schools (2002) and the expansion of the Joint Monitoring Program (WHO/UNICEF).
Prior to this, Ms. Tobin was the Deputy Chief of Health (1999-2001) at UNICEF New York, supporting programs including the integrated management of childhood illnesses (IMCI), the Global Alliance of Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV and Polio Eradication.
Ms. Tobin worked as Project Officer, Water and Health in Peshawar, Pakistan from 1988-1990. In September 1990 she was reassigned to New York as Senior Project Officer, WASH. From 1994 to 1998, Ms. Tobin worked in Egypt as UNICEF Deputy Representative. Ms. Tobin also worked in Nepal (1979-84) where she was responsible for planning and development of sanitation programs for rural and peri-urban areas. She worked for the UK-based NGO, Accord in Juba, South Sudan from 1985 until 1986 and the British Government in Lesotho as Technical Cooperation Officer for Rural Sanitation from 1986 to 1988.
In 1978 she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Birmingham University, United Kingdom, followed by a Master of Science degree in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 1985. In 1999, she gained a Master in Public Administration degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University.

Prior to WHI, Vikas worked as President - Tata Teleservices. He was one of the oldest employees of TTSL and joined its Marketing Services Group in 1998 in Andhra Pradesh. In his last role, Vikas managed the Access Business Unit (ABU) which comprised of Rural, Point of Sales (PoS) Calling Card and Payphone businesses for Tata Teleservices. From 2002, Vikas and his team grew the Business Unit revenues from a mere ` 30 to over 1,700 crores in a span of 6 years i.e. from 2002 to 2008.
Vikas started his career as an Associate with PSi Inc., a consulting cum venture capital firm located in USA. From 1992 to 1997 Vikas worked for some of the major Fortune – 500 companies i.e. John Deere, Amoco Chemicals, Con Agra and others.
