Babatomiwa Adesida is the Private Sector and Philanthropy Engagement Consultant for the Sustainable Development Goals Fund (SDG Fund), a United Nations mechanism; based in New York; that brings together UN agencies, national governments, academia, civil society and business to achieve SDGs. His role entails engaging the Private Sector to establish sustainable partnerships with the UN through the SDG Fund in numerous countries around the world.
He has over 15 years of Private Sector experience and has been involved in the development, implementation and monitoring of projects and policies through the private sector in partnership with numerous governments in different countries some of which include Nigeria, Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Tanzania, Zambia, Switzerland, Singapore and U.A.E. His most recent Private sector role was with Sahara Group where he served as the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Manager for Sahara Foundation; a subsidiary of Sahara Group Limited.
Babatomiwa received a B.Sc with honours in Sociology from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and MSc. in Public Policy from the University Of Bristol, U.K where he won a partial scholarship for international students. He is extremely passionate about Social Reconstruction particularly in developing nations and plays an integral role in promoting the welfare of the underprivileged in the society through partnerships with various organizations and like-minded individuals. He has been nominated for and also received several CSR awards some of which include the Future Awards Nigeria, the Nigeria CSR awards and the 100 most impactful CSR leaders (Global listing) in India.
As a motivational speaker and a firm believer in Africa's inherent greatness, he has travelled vastly delivering numerous papers to the continents youth.
Babatomiwa is married with two children. He is an avid Manchester United fan and also enjoys swimming, table tennis and travelling.

He has been actively participating in various national and international Conferences and Seminars on “Smart Cities” that were held at Mumbai, Ahmadabad, and New Delhi. The UDRI gained good recognition after participating in “Smart Cities & AMRUT Cities” a 2 days’ Workshop that was held on 25-26 June 2015 at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi. The said workshop was inaugurated by the h’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji.
In addition to the above, he was invited twice by “Sun Yat-Sen University”, Guangzhou, CHINA during Oct.2015 & Nov.2017. There, he made Presentations on “Urban Development” related subjects, which were well received by the participants in the workshops. Prior to her startups, she was working at the Electrical Engineering department at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur. Dr. Vibha Tripathi specializes on the R&D of thin film solar cells and has held a number of workshops and seminars in the field of renewable energy. She has also guided many students in R&D of solar cells. Under her supervision, IIT Kanpur started foray in flexible organic solar cells, a unique idea which has a potential to be a disruptive technology. Dr. Tripathi left her position at IIT Kanpur to be free to solve problems at gross root level using latest technologies and hopes that through her social venture, she will be able to activate and inspire many to join hands and change the energy/water scenario in India.

The real-time process simulators developed by him and his group at CSIR-NML were successfully commissioned in iron & steel and ferroalloy industries like Tata Steel, Bokoro Steel Plant, Nav Bharat Ventures etc. Two of the technologies developed by his groups in material characterization and blast furnace at CSIR-NML, received Best Technology awards.
Dr.Satyanarayana has been promoting the R&D activities of CSIR-IICT, and also developing/ nurturing start-ups & incubation centers for about a decade. He is the Secretary,“Society for Biotechnology Incubation Centre (BTIC)”, Genome Valley, Hyderabad; an incubation centre established by CSIR-IICT,Department of BioTechnology and the State Government of Telangana. He recently, established the Advanced Analytical & Characterization Resource (AACR) Facility for the biotech& pharma industry in the Genome Valley Hyderabad, with support from CSIR-IICT and BIRAC/DBT.
Dr.Satyanarayana participated in the Indian Scientific Expedition team to Antarctica in 1997, to commission the technologies developed by him to automate equipment & systems for upper atmosphere studies.
Dr.Satyanarayanais a Member of various committees constituted by DST, Nanotechnology Mission, DST, Dept. of Pharmaceuticals, DIPP, CSIR, Govs. of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, MSME Development Institute, Central Paper & Pulp Research Institute, CII National Committee of Pharmaceuticals, CII National Committee on Biotechnology, etc., and was involved in the preparation of several reports for these committees.
Dr.Satyanarayana is a visiting faculty to several institutions like ASCI, ESCI, NITs, etc., and is advisor to few educational Institutes. His present area of research include: Wireless Sensor Networks, Smart cities, Big data analytics for Energy, Health & Environment. He is presently guiding four research students for their PhD.Three of Dr.Satyanarayana’s research publications received best paper awards.

Dr. A. Subburaj, Head of Office, Central Ground Water Board (CGWB), SWR (South Western Region), Bangalore was born in 1963 in Tuticorin District, Tamil Nadu. He completed his Post Graduation in Geology at V.O.Chidambaram College, Tuticorin, Madurai Kamaraj University, Tamil Nadu in the year 1985. He was awarded with P.hd in Geology by Periyar University, Salem, Tamil Nadu during the year 2017.
He has vast knowledge and experience in the field of Hydrogeology by working in different parts of India over a period of 35 years. He was selected for Group - A Central Services by UPSC through “Geologists’ Examination” and joined Central Ground Water Board, South Eastern Region, Bhubaneshwar, Odissa, Ministry of Water Resources, Govt. India as Scientist-B (Junior Hydrogeologist) in 1987.
He was associated with Ground water Surveys and Exploration including site selection, drilling, designing of well assembly, pumping tests in different hydrogeological terrains of Odissa and Madhya Pradesh during his tenure there for a period of five years.
He was transferred to CGWB, Kerala Region,Trivandrum during 1992, where he has carried out Artificial Recharge studies, Groundwater Monitoring, Remote Sensing and Groundwater Exploration. He was also involved in World Bank aided Hydrology Project from 1997 to 2001 in various activities.
He was transferred to CGWB, South Eastern Coastal Region, Chennai during 2004. He was involved in the implementation of Artificial Recharge Schemes in different parts of Tamil Nadu. He has authored several technical reports and research papers in the fields of artificial recharge and remote sensing and has Published many a Papers in scientific journals in the field of Hydrogeology.
He worked as of Head of Office (H.O.O) of CGWB, SECR, Chennai during the period from February - 2015 to October - 2017. During this period he has conducted many Training programmes and workshops in the State of Tamil Nadu on Water Conservation and Aquifer Mapping and Management. He is instrumental in bringing out the Aquifer Management Plan for Upper major part of Tamil Nadu under the National Aquifer Mapping Project of Ministry of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Govt. of India.
