Dr Alex Ariho is the CEO of the African Agribusiness Incubators Network (AAIN) that operates in 55 African countries. Alex holds a PhD in Development Management and specialised in agribusiness global value chainsdevelopment. Alex is anexpert in business incubationmanagement and business modelling for job and employment creationwith special focus on start-ups, youth and women engagement in agribusiness trade and investment.

Alex Ariho is a World CSR winner of Africa Green Leadership Award 2017. Hehas worked and served as an international consultant/Adviser /Expert Panel member with World Bank Group, African Development Bank, Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and AfricanUnion among others on agriculture, regional commodity value chains development, and trade and agribusiness incubation programmes development for job and employment opportunitiescreation.

Alex is thelead development expert for African Agribusiness Incubation Program (AAIP),Agribusiness Incubation Fund (AAIF), African Agribusiness Incubators Network (AAIN), University of Business incubation (UBI) and Excel Hort Consult agribusiness Incubator Hub. To date both institutions and partnerships developed employee over 5000 people directly and indirectly globally Before AAIN, Alex worked with the Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) as UniBRAIN facility coordinator responsible for technology commercialisation and business incubation in Africa.He has worked as Chief Executive officer and President of Excel Hort Consult Agribusiness Incubator hub. Alex has worked with International Development, Private Sector and ResearchOrganisations in senior managerial positions. Some of the organisations and institutions include among others WWF/Nature Uganda, ICRAF, and UNDP-African 2000 Network. Alex has published academically and produced several agribusiness incubation models, research papers and handbooks. Alex is visiting Associate Professor of London College of International Business Studies (LCIBS) UK, Bishop Stuart University Uganda and Cape Coast University in Ghana among others USA, China and Europe .He is Founding Member of Agribusiness Value Chain Development Network, Afri Banana Products Limited,International Centre for skills and Talent Development and SponsorArihocupand founding member Africa Women Incubation and Innovation Hub.
