Mr. Shina Atilola is currently the Group Head, Strategy & Communications of Sterling Bank Plc. Nigeria, one of the fastest growing and most capitalized financial institutions in the West African sub region. With almost two decades of professional experience, Mr. Shina Atilola has established himself as a reputable banker with bias for promoting the sustainability tenets in the organizations he has worked at.

An erudite strategist in the Nigerian banking sector, Mr. Atilola has in his role enabled the Bank develop innovative approaches to doing business as well as in fulfilling her Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) priorities.

A first class graduate of International Relations from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Osun state, he has led the Bank's efforts at forging collaborative partnerships with various state governments and agencies to ensure environmental sustainability across the country. Other initiatives spurred by his visionary leadership include youth empowerment projects, financial literacy for children and financially excluded adults and tree planting to curb the desertification menace in the North East of the country.

An alumnus of Wharton Business School, Mr. Atilola is adept in the area of Strategic Thinking, Credit Analysis and Brand Management.
