Guy Perry is committed to shaping more sustainable urban environments and creating healthier living patterns for citizens. He has three decades of experience in planning, designing and developing urban districts that redefine living standards and well-being around the globe. Mr. Perry combines design and development expertise to create economically viable, environmentally sustainable, human focused environments.

Prior to joining EIL, Mr. Perry worked as an Executive Director, Asia-Pacific, at AECOM and had held senior posts at IN-VI, HOK, TrizecHahn and Kajima Corporation.

Mr. Perry has practiced in Asia, Europe, North Africa, the Middle East, Brazil and North America. Projects he has led include: the 250 hectare Miasteczko Wilanow district in Warsaw, the smart ARQ district development strategy in Hong Kong, the Corvin Promenade urban regeneration in Budapest and an award winning conservation strategy for 8,000 Km of the Amazon Rainforest. He was the lead international consultant for the winning Clark Green City strategy in the Philippines and for two of the first round qualifying Indian Smart City projects. Mr. Perry began his career designing key components of the Barcelona Olympics. He is currently working on public spaces, streets and affordable housing strategies for urban and rural sites throughout India.

Mr. Perry's work has earned top honors from the Urban Land Institute (ULI), International Society of City and Regional Planner (ISOCARP), FIABCI and the International Academy of Design and Health. He received distinctions from Architecture Review and the Guangzhou Awards for Urban Innovation and has coordinated an Emmy Award winning film for the Smithsonian Insitution.

Mr. Perry was head of the jury for the coastal master planning extension of Shantou, China and has served on the Jury of the MIPIM awards and ISOCARP awards of excellence. He has organized multi - disciplinary urban design exercises for his students at MIT, Harvard and the University of Hong Kong, throughout the world, including in India, Brazil, Ukraine, Spain and New Zealand.

Mr. Perry holds two master degrees from Harvard University where he graduated with distinction. He has received fellowships from the Urban Land Institute, Harvard University and the Skidmore, Owings and Merrill Foundation.
