Venkat Rolla is the Group Head – CSR of the RPG Group of companies. The three areas of CSR engagement of the group are: Education, Employability & Environment... (3Es).
Akshar: A program to improve the functional English skills of govt school children (Class 4 onwards). Currently engaged with 6700 students in 57 Govt Schools across 9 cities.
Saksham: Adopted four Govt Technical School (Pilot program), under a PPP with Directorate of Technical Education. Has expanded to nine such schools this year. Also introducing Saksham in AP & Gujarat this year. "SAKSHAM" is a six-year program from Class 8 to 12 with a one-year apprenticeship at our factories.
ITI adoption: Under the Govt PPP Scheme adopted three ITI s in India.
Mr. Rolla is a post graduate in Law & Management. After a successful management career, he has moved into the Social sector as he strongly believes that one has to also give back to society.
The idea of Technical education at schools along with academics is the need of the hour to bridge the skill gap in the Nation. He has a missionary zeal when it comes to Green Earth issues and implements it in his personal life as well
