Sundeep has cross functional experience in research, academics and consultancy in the Government and social sector. He has a wide range of experience dealing with Government and International Donor Agencies such as the World Bank, ADB, ranging from strategy planning, project implementation and execution to monitoring and evaluation. He was involved in setting up a State Resource Institution Network (SRIN) in Maharashtra for implementing the UNICEF Micro-planning program. He conducted Impact Evaluation of Microfinance programmes of the Government of Maharashtra. As an M.Phil Scholar in IIT Bombay he produced a dissertation to understand the varying consumption pattern of the new middle class and did an in depth analysis of the retail sector. He has been awarded a research grant from UGC, New Delhi (the nodal regulator of Higher Education in India) and been appointed as a principal investigator for a research project. He is an avid researcher and has several research articles presented in international seminars and published in journals and newspaper and constantly undertakes speaking assignments on Government Reforms, Public Sector Enterprises, CSR, Monitoring and Evaluation, MSME and the Social Sector. He is currently engaged as a Senior Consultant for the Government Reforms and Infrastructure Development practice of PwC. In PwC, he is a part of the ADB funded Khadi Reforms and Development Programme of KVIC, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. He is also involved in a study of Sustainability of Handicrafts Clusters, for DC Handicrafts, Ministry of Textiles. He is leading a team for Evaluation of Export Market Promotion and Trade & Industry Related Functional Support service schemes of Coir Board, Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. He has been involved in various short term stints for monitoring and evaluation of CSR programmes of various Companies and foundations. He holds a Masters Degree in Social Work (Urban and Rural Community Development) from Tata Institute of Social Sciences and has done M.Phil (Planning & Development) from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay)".
