Sudhir K Sinha, a CSR campaigner by profession, is working as Country Head – CSR at ArcelorMittal in India; has over 27 years of wide and varied experience of working with corporates and NGOs in CSR.

A social activist who did his post graduation in Rural Development has worked with Tata Steel for 18 years. He also worked with Partners in Change (PiC), an NGO promoting CSR in India & South Asia, before joining Moser Baer India Limited as Head – CSR in 2005. As Group Vice President- Corporate Social Responsibility at Reliance- Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group, he architected the company's CSR strategies and programs before joining ArcelorMittal.

He is a Lead Fellow (Lead International) and is actively engaged in promoting environmental governance and Corporate Responsibility through a global network of development leaders and social /environmental activists. He is voluntarily associated with several social organizations and institutions and is aggressively engaged in fighting poverty, hunger, disease and illiteracy.

Pushing multi stakeholders' model of Corporate Responsibility and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in India are his two personal agendas.

Sudhir Sinha currently holds several positions as member or advisor in various national level strategic committees/forums in India.

In recognition of contribution to forwarding the CSR agenda and providing leadership to sustainable development, the CSR Leadership Award is conferred on Sudhir Sinha at the Blue Dart Global CSR Awards, 2012.
