RITU JHINGON is a General Manager Corporate Communication and CSR at Cairn India. Her academic background includes a Masters in Business Administration degree in Marketing and Graduation in B.Com (Hons.) from Sri Ram College of Commerce, University of Delhi.
She has over two decades of varied experience working as strategist; strategising and designing solutions from inception to completion. Her experience includes establishing marketing solutions, creating conditions for optimum project delivery, stakeholder engagement to create viable business solutions.
As part of her position at Cairn in furthering, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Ms. Jhingon has successfully created an environment fostering entrepreneurial thinking; she professionally guided Cairn's CSR towards its business linkage, branding and communication at national and international fora; she's been instrumental in furthering the CSR agenda both internally and externally in Cairn India by providing strategic inputs on incorporating CSR within the core business of Cairn, strategising programmes that enhances positive impact on the lives of key stakeholders particularly vulnerable and marginalised, framing Corporate Social Responsibility policies of Cairn, promoting Cairn's contribution to the achievement of Millennium Development Goals and developing human resources systems & practices within the company.
Ms. Jhingon is also one of the Development Champions at Cairn India; through this platform she proactively addresses the CSR concerns internally within the organisation.
Prior to joining Cairn India, she has worked in senior management positions for Hindustan Times Media Ltd., New Delhi, Ogilvy and Mather (Sri Lanka, Mumbai and Delhi) where she has led teams towards strategising solutions for its rural arm, creating platforms for experiential marketing, defining mechanisms and tools for defined project delivery and creating platforms for showcasing these solutions to the relevant communities.
